The FT reports that Athens told banks handling the sale of this weekâ??s â?¬5bn Greek bond issue to make sure they did not allocate any bonds to hedge funds or any bodies that might be a proxy for them.

BaFin introduces transparency system for net short-selling positions (Press Releases)
On 4 March 2010, the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) issued a General Decree under which market participants must notify BaFin of net short-selling positions in selected financial stocks of a threshold of 0.2 % or more and publish the same of a threshold of 0.5 % or more.
Henderson on the look-out for further acquisitions (Fund News)
Andrew Formica, Henderson's chief executive said that "Henderson remained alert to acquisition opportunities but that they will be choosy." Last year Henderson snapped up its ailing rival New Star Asset Management.
