John Paulson has hired two gold analysts for his new gold fund, The Wall Street Journal reports. John Reade and Victor Flores are joining the hedge-fund manager.

Reade was head of precious-metal strategy at UBS before joining Credit Suisse in October. Previously, Flores was a senior mining analyst with HSBC Holdings. The new gold fund, to be launched in January, will invest in shares of gold miners and other bullion-related investments.
