The winding-up of Lehman Brothers in Europe is heading into record territory for accountancy and legal fees in the region.PwC, the appointed administrator, revealed that in their first year working on the case they have charged £154m in fees for work on the company??s winding up.
The administrators?? legal advisers, led by Linklaters, the law firm, had run up $112m in fees as of September 14, 2009.
??This is the largest and most complicated bankruptcy in history, raising many novel legal issues,? Linklaters said in a statement.
